I’ve got one… Very cool with chrome os flex, but the lcd is so dark :(
Do you have the old CCFL backlight or LED? The X61s might all be LED but it’s been a while since I’ve fiddled with them.
If it’s CCFL see if you can easily swap to LED and you should get much better brightness.
Sure is not led !
