So basically it is more what twitter was really worth anyway

Those compensation requirements would basically make it financially impossible to have someone on-call or they’d just have to hire people for those hours and say they are normal working hours.
How would you force someone to take time off?

Streaming in general is approaching the old cable prices. Once you’ve subscribed to the fractured marketplace to find the shows you want you are spending far more than you expected.
I’m no fan of Hezbollah but how is this different than spreading land mines? Even if you kill civilians in an air strike at least you can claim there were enemy combatants there. Here it is just “Eh, we’ll just kill people at random and see what happens.”
The idea of ownership is being destroyed
The weight matters too. EVs are notoriously heavy. You have to haul around the batteries whether they are full or not.
“However, due to their high production costs, these batteries’ initial application will be limited to the “super premium” EV segment.”
I’m not sure I want the gov and huge amounts of my tax dollars going to operate federal gov chip fab plants. On the other hand I get your point that it is so heavily subsidized it is practically a de facto situation anyway.
Executives will be “essential”, QA, sys admins, etc will be non essential.
You don’t understand how consumer goods work
If you thought making this comment was a good idea you might need to get a grip on life.
If a sample image is “making some women feel unwelcome in the field” you may be too sensitive for life.
Be careful what you wish for though. Electronics, and software in particular, rapidly drop in reliability as the parts stray from tightly restricted boundaries and become open to anyone. “Hey, this app crashes on my phone now.” Repairing a phone too wouldn’t be cheap either, you’d have to have someone soldering and resoldering a very fine circuit board. I think most people would just replace it.
Yup, they are only as good as their programming
The posting essentially says there is no risk than tosses out mercury and lead vapors which don’t exist in a HDD. Then it talks about the lead in solder. You’d have to vigorously rub and handle the solder on circuit boards to get any amount on your skin worth worrying about and then you just wash your hands. That risk is true of all boards that don’t use low or lead free solder. The whole comment is very hypothetical.
If your hard drive has dust it would’ve failed a long time ago. They are designed to be extremely clean. The head is like a 747 flying an inch above the ground. It sounds like an urban myth to scare people.
I used to collect AOL cds. I had a stack a few feet high. I was going to make some sort of artwork out of them.
When making even the slightest expression online treat it like you were working in a sewer running through an insane asylum connected to a prison.
