I bought two of these a few years ago and they are really reliable. USB 2.0 so they are slow as shit, but I still use them to install linux.

Already switched to linux. I still have one windows drive that I haven’t booted for about a year. Haven’t relied on virtual machines or anything.

The "smart"ification of stuff has got to stop. Nobody asked for wireless connected robots that don’t let you connect to your own server even. Maybe if these worked with home assistant this wouldnt have happened, because home assistant devs are more competent that big corporations.

I just had a conversation with it too. It’s slow and not very accurate at hearing me, as well as the voice just kinda changed midway through the conversation. It’s a nice concept but not well executed.
