You can put Kodi on a tablet and stream on the go. Just be sure to pick a lower quality file or some movies can be like 70gb
I suggest enlarging your current NAS or building one and running something like Open Media Vault, Umbrel, CASA, etc.
For streaming, Kodi is the best value though it’s via pirating. But is pirating such a bad thing when these companies steal your data and revoke movies that you purchased? With a debrid service costing $17 for 6mo you can stream basically anything with no slowdowns. Run Kodi via LibreElec on a RPi5.

You can get generally up to PS3 games working on PC and you’d be owning those games too. Value for money is good and all but owning vs leasing is clear cut and I’ll take owning my stuff everytime, as that is valuable to me.
Then we return to the topic of not owning your games with Steam. Try installing non Steam games via the Heroic launcher and use Bazzite OS instead
Maybe so at this point in history. Don’t be surprised when Ford implements it or something similar at a later date. Ads are in most everything now and they have already sold your data to insurance companies.
Just gotta spread the word. I got two people to switch from Windows to Linux recently. When they heard about an alternative they got very interested and jumped on the opportunity. People want an alternative, but like you say they don’t know one exists, so we need to keep spreading the word of Linux.
PS. They both are enjoying the ad free experience and don’t have any big issues or problems with Linux. Just learning pains

In that case those people probably wouldn’t be on Graphene anyways. If they’re open minded enough to try Graphene they’re probably open to trying new apps such as Aegis.
It only proves how dystopian our present time is with how easily and accurately something can be tracked
Or exploited by the government
People commonly reuse the same usernames and passwords with an associated email. All that must be done is check breach data for matching email and username and then try the password from the list. You’ll likely find more than a few will be a match
