And I actually do believe manjaro has improved in the last year or two - it’s just difficult to recommend while endeavour and archinstall exist.
Manjaro as a project is amateur hour, over and over again. Their practice of holding back packages is bad, causing many version conflict problems. Their software DDOSing repos is bad, they can try to pass the blame to pamac, but they are the ones shipping it. Their repeated inability to keep certificates updated is bad.
EndeavourOS should be recommended over Manjaro every time.
Just pointing out the author mentions they used mastodon for a time too, their argument is that bluesky interface, content and moderation are better for them.

Use of napalm also isn’t a war crime, the context of targets is what makes it one.

Minor correction, it was Bitkeeper/BitMover - not Bitbucket. They were proprietary software linux used w/ a community license, and they later removed that free tier.

Accurate PHP mindset on so many levels
I inherited a C# code base that had a custom runtime loader for APL modules. Over half of the app was actually written in APL with C# just hosting the API… so yeah, had to learn that. I don’t recommend it but some people seem to really love the language. Those people are often statisticians, not programmers.
Deadjournal was (is?) such an excellent niche corner of the internet. I remember being young and having trouble connecting the site, totally my fault, but I sent them an email and the admins Cryo and SCSi personally helped me get it figured out. In hindsight I couldn’t imagine another platform taking the time.
Nailed it. They know they have a leading chip in these designs now, the market is expanding, and whatever licensing fee was negotiated in the past needs to be revisited.
