Any modern phone os locks to pin after 3 tries.
Now depending how good they are, it’s often possible to guess it by looking at the smear patterns on the phone.

IANAL, but I’d be very careful about wiping the phone like that. Sounds a lot like destruction of evidence…
“was” I expect all anti trust suits to disappear come January.
That went the other way, it is easier. The ending was just putting him back.
True but that’s extremely rare for people to do.
Aren’t you assuming everyone else can’t care about video games because you don’t?
Why does being a programmer matter? You’re not implying that technology groups should care about programming I hope.
It was broken before then, the whole distributed user and instances is hard for the average non techy. This is the same issue Linux has. People say “just install Linux” but when the person Google’s it, they get destroyed with 30 plus flavors and don’t understand what to do.

You severely underestimate current corporations and their short sightedness.
While! I love nuclear’s possibilities. I’ve seen commercial, shippings safety and maintenance records. I don’t think that would be a good idea
The bean counters move in and company focus shifts to money. It’s not new.
My dad told me a story back in the 80’s about outfitter (camping equipment) stores. A few started selling clothes on the side. The profit margins were much higher on clothes. So that section kept getting bigger until it was a clothing store with a outfitter name. People stopped shopping there, and they’d go out of business.
Everybody has had this for 10 years?
I’ve been using it on Google voice for almost that long. Some carriers even have it. VZW does but I ain’t paying for it.
Watch geraldo rivera, as he finds out what’s in Capone’s safe!
(Yes, I’m old)
They can drop the price the day Intel actually puts a chip on the market… They’re capturing maximum profit while they can.
That’s not really true, except at the ultra high end. My 4070 barely draws more than my old 1070. The 4080 draws the same as a 3080 with double the performance.
I would argue water cooling is far less needed today. What has changed is Nvidia selling chips that would have been considered extreme aftermarket overclocking 10 years ago.
I mean technically moores law has been dead for 15 years. The main reason we went to multi-core was we couldn’t keep up otherwise.
Until the loan is forgiven a few later…
A chain or wire hanging off a train car and dragging along will “clean” them real quick…
I’d settle for them being force to offer links to alternatives when you first install Windows.
AND being forced to stop the bullshit every few updates where they force you through choosing options. One of which is “update to recommended browser settings for security?”… Which just defaults the system to use edge.
Yeah, also taking a shower while on the effects of imbibing probably isn’t safe.
