It’s a button to manage your Microsoft account that you signed into windows with. It’s not shocking that it has an option to upgrade said account

Either way, if the vr headset doesn’t need internet connection you could connect your computer to the internet wirelessly and to your own router via cable for vr.

I don’t know much about networking but that page seems to be about someone else setting up a dhcp server without the knowledge of the administrators or the users. In op’s case the concerns about mitm attacks don’t apply and the other concerns sound like problems that could arise in cases of misconfiguration or if the users aren’t aware they’re connected to a different network. I also couldn’t see anything about it affecting the main network’s performance

Why does the dhcp on the router affect the main network? I’d think if it has its own network the main network would only need to deal with the router, as opposed to all the devices connected to the router if it was passthrough?

I would think the camera bar would make holding the phone easier, is that not the case? I have a note 20 ultra and I find cases with horizontal camera cover sliders significantly more comfortable to hold than those that try to make the camera bump less noticeable

If I only browsed my subscribed feed that’d maybe amount to to 5-10 minutes of stuff a day. On the other hand if I open the all feed there’s an endless steam of the stuff I mentioned above. As I said, what’s lacking isn’t volume it’s the content of the volume

I don’t mean discussion about entertainment, I mean communities that entertain you like damnthatsinteresting, unexpected, nextfuckinglevel etc. And considering how much of their content is in video form, I don’t think they can viably exist in lemmy.

It’s not the size, it’s the content. Lemmyverse is a lot more serious and honestly, gloomy. Average age seems to be quite higher too. If all you used reddit for was news, politics, technical discussion and porn lemmy might be perfectly fine but there’s way less meme or entertainment content here
