Not leagaly but users will be frustated and leave. They will rollback within a day so you will not need to worry too much.
No ads. Lightweight app/website.
Maybe it is just avoiding big tech.
I want to take all my phone calls. I very rarely get one. Maybe 1 time per 6 months on my private phone. I have meetings on teams but don’t count them as it is remote working and only for work.
Besides, Google products just dies.
Can’t they just code this like an assistant or something? Much more power efficient.
You DO get a choice. You can shift to any other operating system in the world. I did go to Fedora with KDE.
This increase competition a lot. I like it. Sure people using iPhone may not like options, but at least some can now.
As it requires going inside me, i wound never use it regardless of what it can do.
It is funny how they think this product useful to so many people. I believe they only do it because they have to use AI in any way but could not come up with something better.
That is good news - I assume they are done with the replacement as they announce this, otherwise they are just stupid. The problem is - why did it take this long time for a trillion dollar company to archive it?
Wow. Is it even legal to have it that long?
I bet a lot was of details were missing in there as well.
The different popups just show how bad design the web is today.

Ok. Can someone please update https://killedbygoogle.com/ with this and increase the counter with +1?
I am surprised of this.
If the government did it - I would be very angry. Do you know how much internet help with democracy in the world? Think of it as shutting down all libraries with books, and forbidde any kind of communication.
It would of course try to setup some communication and gather people. I currently only have one irc server. I guess people want something webbased as they probably don’t have the client software.
I would probably lose my job as well as it is a software as a service company that require internet to function.
What do Microsoft have to gain from not listening on to the users?
I left Authy a couple of years ago when I realized that I can own my own data. I use KeepassXC. For sync, just syncthing. Both free and I 100 % control of it.
Any online password manager is in my opinion is stupid as it will sooner or later get hacked - info leak. Some may not even apply zero-knowledge about the passwords.
A general protocol standard just for sync would be nice. But then there is the problem of getting all big players on board. There are open protocols like syncthing and seafile use but not compatible with eachother.
What is the official reason here for removing it?
