I’m confused. Wouldn’t he have access to his email and maybe phone number that is attached to his Microsoft account to prove who he is?

They get the traffic data from some third party, not by following their users like gmaps.

Do you share data with third parties?
We send position data to our traffic provider to generate real-time traffic information. The data is anonymized on the phone, using a changing key (so it’s not linked to you), and it is deleted after 5 minutes.
They have a good privacy policy though. I haven’t really had many issues with their app.
4·6 months agoSelf host FreshRSS, use the GReader or Fever API link that’s built into FreshRSS to sync to other apps on your local network. If you want to access the sync remotely, use Tailscale or setup Wireguard. I personally just run Wireguard in OpenWrt

Ever since the Reddit exodus, so many people joined Lemmy who just assumes everyone lives in the US.

I noticed that sometimes comments asking “What currency?” or “What country?” gets downvoted even though the original post / comment isn’t obvious that they are talking specifically about US :(
Yup! Whereas with Media Tracker, everything is pretty much almost instantaneous for me.
Ryot was too slow for me. It’s really bad when you try to mark multiple TV series seasons as “seen” at the same time as well.
Unfortunately, it looks like they deleted the Windows branch in Sept 2023
It is only made for Docker, which you can run on Windows, MacOS, and Linux
I have used Ryot for a while. It is nice and has a lot of features. It has documentation, which is really nice.
I am using Media Tracker because it has most of the features I need and it’s very fast. I wish it had genre sections like Ryot though. It looks like someone created an issue for it at least. Might go back to Ryot eventually, but we’ll see. Luckily Ryot has a Media Tracker import option.
I personally use Media Tracker because it’s fast and have enough features for me.
Ryot is another one that’s good.
Flox hasn’t had a commit since 2020. It’s not being updated anymore.
Oh wow. I didn’t know that there was a docker for Libreoffice. LinuxServer.io is always amazing for making these!
Yeah, unfortunately because of this decision from Mullvad, they also lost me as customer and I had to move to another.
It kinda sucks because I loved Mullvad. They had great servers, customer service, and I do like their Android & Linux program.
Did you update your public IP address for your domain after changing ISPs?
I run Wireguard VPN on my router that’s using OpenWrt
If you want free, I’d recommend Protom Mail.
For paid, I really like Mailbox.org and Posteo. They work with IMAP/POP3, CardDAV, and CalDAV
