Lol, good luck with that. I’ll stuck with my dumb, subscription-less and app-less ebike. And still manage to beat cars due to insane traffic.

Fuck the dmca!
They know what you did.
I don’t know about your city, but I trust technology a lot more than the average driver. At least technology can detect a red light vs a green light. I nearly got hit by a ford mega truck in broad daylight who thought the small, green bicycle symbol was his indicator to ignore his massive red “no left turn” indicator across a protected bike lane. :P
Yeah, it feels like no matter how much I spend on stuff like toasters, air fryers, or blenders, they just aren’t built like they were a couple of decades ago. It’s a drag to go through appliances that shouldn’t be disposable. Even high-end vaccums don’t last as long as they should, and when they do need parts, they are difficult to repair. Miele even got bought out, iirc.
They need to take their talent and apply it to stuff that could actually use it, rather than rehashing stuff that is already good. An Apple clothes dryer that actually can sense dry clothes and doesn’t break easily. An apple garage door that doesn’t suck. An Apple Ebike that lasts ages and is repairable (and gets people out of their cars).
I think an Apple bidet could be neat. A toaster, too.
I’d like to see recycable bike tires, too! Bike tires suffer similar problems. And my bikes go through tires fairly quick.
Same, but cars in general now. I used to look forward to driving, but now I’m sick of it. Biking and ebikes have made going places fun again :)
I want more pneumatic tube systems. I don’t care what it’s used for. They are super satifying and analog.
Good luck getting people to waste a ton of gas and time going into the office every day. Even before the pandemic, everyone was already using teams for meetings virtually. I think we had physical meetings a few times a year at most, and even then, some people were virtual.
About the Super Load
This is the twelfth of nearly two dozen “super loads” that will make their way from a dock on the Ohio River near Manchester in Adams County to New Albany in Licking County.
Heh. So many innuendos.
Teams will show you as away even if you are watching a security training video or reading a long email…or waiting for a bunch of dataflows to refresh. It’s a really bad way of calculating if someone is away.
I’m always shocked by this. In a world with seatbelt laws, crumple zones, backup cameras, pinch protection, etc we allow people to ride motorcycles that consistently get injured or killed. How they haven’t gotten banned or stupidly restricted is beyond me. Even with a motorcycle lane, getting in a wreck at 75mph would be seriously bad.
In my state, I’m pretty sure you can ride a motorcycle legally with a helmet and a tshirt on, but get pulled over and fined for not wearing a seatbelt, lol.
Inb4 “both parties are the same”.
While I hate stuff like these rollbacks, we are already starting to see EVs save people money on gas and service, and they are stupidly fast compared to ICE counterparts. That’s something Americans of all stripes can get behind.
Once I tried an ebike, I realized I never wanted to go back to gas engines. So fast, so much torque, and pennies to charge vs $70 gas tanks at Costco (even more at a normal gas station). It just makes economic sense to run PEVs in all major urban areas in addition to mass transit.
With traffic and some protected bike lanes, even a conventional bike can almost beat a car in a 7-14 mile drive in my city. An ebike makes it even easier.
Complements are nice regardless of gender or orientation. Was flattering to be called cute by guys even if I wasn’t interested in them :)
24h time makes way more sense, especially when working with servers late at night. Hate 12 hour time’s annoying AM/PM issues, particularly when typing the time into server refreshes or dealing with 11pm - 12pm (am) slip ups.
Don’t worry, yiff (furry porn) always makes it past safe search and content blockers, so you will have at least one other category. I’m sure that blocking mundane porn won’t backfire at all :)
I have a drink once a month (or sometimes not for a few months) and it makes me feel exhausted. We do a big party once a year and that’s more than enough for me.
Not downvoting you, but what on earth would need a SQL server to use suspension? It would be far too slow for real-time applications, and this isn’t a rolls royce engine on a jet generating 1tb of data a second when all sensors are active and logging.
This is a mall-mobile that someone will probably total in a power center parking lot in Arizona.
