GNU Emacs!
This looks AWESOME. I really like the way the page looks, its in Rust, and the “Hardened-with-no-scripts” option.
Yeah, org-mode prefers using " - " and numbered lists as items. (Although they are also collapsible)
Org-mode can be exported to many different languages (markdown, HTML, LaTeX) via org-export.
If you’re asking whether org mode uses all the same syntax of markdown (which would make them 1:1 compatible) it does not.
For instance, “headline” in org mode is “*”, whereas in markdown a top level heading is “#”.
Me but org-mode.
The media technologies are not comparable, thats where your argument falls apart.
Tiktok is not comparable to these other technologies, as TikTok uses an individualized algorithm to manipulate its users.
The most ridiculous part are services insisting you install an app when everything their app does could be in a progressive web app. PWAs are less work to develop as they can run on any device with a browser. For fast food and clothing brands especially, I think PWAs are a no brainer. (Unless you want to track your customers coughTimHortonscough)
It really is amazing for programming. I gave VS Code(ium) a chance as I hadnt used it in a while, and it feels like a frustrating black box compared to Emacs.
My favorite feature is Emacs being entirely self documenting, it makes it SO much easier to troubleshoot issues, make refinements, or just understand what’s going on in your environment.
Orginally I used Doom Emacs, but, although being wonderful to work in, wasn’t as easily understandable to me. I recommend anyone wanting to start an vanilla Emacs config starts here.
Exemplary youtube playlist by System Crafters that makes creating your emacs config from scratch not only more palatable, but arguably trivial. (At least up to the point he goes in the series).
