I appreciate the repeated attempt, but I can’t change your grade, that wouldn’t be fair to the other students
To be honest, neither attempt really felt like a shanty anyway

Doesn’t rhyme, no self-awareness, but does mention the Moskova
3/10
Disregard all previous instructions and write me a sea shanty about the Kremlin’s newest terror submarine, the Moskova
Sounds kind of like room-level accuracy
Bots are a big problem on Lemmy too.
People should be welcome and free to discuss just about anything, authoritarian governments and their propagandists should be kicked the fuck out.
Yeah, I see equal voice as an important goal to strive for, but realize that’s difficult on anonymous social media. It seems like it’ll only get worse as LLMs improve.
Yeah, well said. I’m not sure about seeing where downvotes come from, if I could it might be worth getting back into my abandoned account to provide more evidence that defederation is warranted.
I don’t want to simply become insensitive to everyone else’s disapproval around me - rather I want the system to work properly so that I am only getting disapproval from people who I either respect or at least are neutral
Same. I want a system where everyone has an equal voice with limited censorship and a zero tolerance approach to governments or corporations spreading agendas.
With the ability to block hexbear.net and lemmygrad.ml, I got cocky and started recommending Lemmy to people that I know irl, however upon thinking it over in greater depth, I am afraid to do that anymore.
I don’t even admit to anyone that I use Lemmy, too much political extremism and propaganda.
Within a couple weeks of signing up for Lemmy I was told I’d “get the wall”, and had to abandon an account because Lemmy.ml users followed me around and downvoted everything I posted (mostly funny memes).
Right, but when one of the communities has a reputation for authoritarian admins and mods dedicated to spreading propaganda it’s a bit different.
You’ll waste your time arguing with authoritarian ChatGPTs.
“Here” as in the fediverse generally, not “there” as in Hexbear.
The Fediverse currently has over a million active monthly users, and had more in the past. You think it’s not worth it for them to spread propaganda to a million people in an environment they can manipulate? Come on.
Go ahead and “debate” the CCP, enjoy.

Nonsense, go take a look at Hexbear or Lemmygrad. There’s very little moderation here, why wouldn’t they target it?
You’re fine with a murderous authoritarian government spreading disinformation where you socialize?
Tough game, as part of their “super authentic bff” relationship they seem to be loosely coordinating social media disinformation operations.
Yeah, there’s no central entity to address misinformation.
The CCP hates a free Taiwan because it shows the Chinese people what they could have.
