There’s just too much to list but it only ever makes sense if you take whatever he’s doing as right and readjust everyone around him to work does it ever make sense.
The fact that this election is even close is absolutely insane to me.
I also like the absurd amount of permissions it requires. Meta couldn’t let their guard down for a moment.
To clarify, I mean Meta couldn’t be a little less data hungry in order to take marketshare from Twitter. They instantly needed access to absolutely everything at the start.
I can’t recall the exact change but a coworker did something five years very intentionally. The comments, the commit and everything described what they did but not why.
I think it was with side effects: true and I fixed a certain way we bundled things and I believe that could have solved the issue but I don’t know for sure :/
I deleted Twitter as soon as Space Karen took over.
However, my friends and so many people I follow on other platforms still link their Twitter profiles. For some there needs to be something solid to make a real and consistent migration. I was overly hopeful that Threads (yes, another evil) would have buried Twitter.
Sounds similar to the SSL stuff, like for GitHub and stuff. I guess the preference in that case would be my password manager as it stores my password already.
Perhaps it’s best I pay for Bitwarden premium now and use those hardware keys people are recommending.

Yeah I didn’t understand passkeys. I’m like why is my browser asking to store them? What if I’m using another browser? Why is my password manager fighting with my browser on where to store this passkey?
I felt so uneasy.
So I decided not to use passkeys for now until I understood what’s going on.
I just got my pro fold, I haven’t used it that much as a tablet to be honest. It is nice to do when I need it.

Even within a company. Saw coworkers that were trying to establish themselves as the AI pioneers and were backstabbing others get promotions based on how they could best use the ChatGPT AI.
Yeah I get the odd friend that loves Musk and when they ask for counterpoints, it’s good to have them handy.
I like how we’ve seen the Humane AI pin, Rabbit R1 and that stupid Devin AI programmer.
The hype around their possibilities was so high. All of them were varying levels of scams.

I was intrigued by the idea, I was like, “oooh a modular mouse where it could be a trackball or vertical mouse or multi-sensor components with obvious replacement parts that they’d sell to make it easy on repair”!
Then I saw software and I’m like wtf? do I look like I need something else to Crowdstrike me? “Can’t work today boss, credit card didn’t update my mouse subscription hang on…”

I mean it seems almost impossible that they either didn’t have a staging process to test N number of machines either virtual or otherwise or it passed through but it just seems insane that a problem of this magnitude went out to this many people.
